![]() ![]() People seem to think Ninpo: Panic is a big deal, but I'm not fully sure why.Īt first glance, the Nightseeker's Boost and Break skills are far superior. I guess it's better than nothing if you know a huge attack is coming up, but the lack of proactivity still grates. ![]() Sure, you can evade for one turn by.doing nothing. Not sure what the point of Ninpo: Flight is. Ninpo: Mirage seems useful for Hero/Ninja duo runs, I suppose, and pointless otherwise, especially by late game when enemies just nuke your whole party anyway. I read somewhere that Beheading can proc on Izuna and the like is this true?ĭoes Revenge use Ninja's above-average INT? If so, why do people not max it with Ninpo: Double for free 1000% attacks when clones die? Clones can clone themselves, right? The only problem is that if you clone even once, it's a huge TP loss. So while the Nightseeker puts any sort of ailment on the enemy and then goes in for big damage, the Ninja spreads ailments, and then uses its down turns less for damage and more for debuffs and binds. Shadow Bind might actually be the best leg bind skill in the game. Shadow Bind, Bone Crusher, and Izuna look like they would be useful from the very start of the game to the very end. Spread Throw + Auto Spread is actually insane, but the Ninja has a worse (yet early) Spread Throw in Ninpo: Daggers. They both seem good at curb-stomping random encounters, with the Ninja's skills being a bit more front-loaded and the Nightseeker essentially outscaling the Ninja as a character over time. Obviously, both are fast, fragile, status-inflictors.įrom what I can make out, the Nightseeker is more of a frontline attacker/damager on top of this, whereas the Ninja specializes in debuffs and weirdness from the backline instead.
